One of the five richest racehorses in North American history with earnings of $6,944,369. At 2, Silver Charm won the Del Mar Futurity. At 3, he thrilled the world winning the Kentucky Derby and Preakness narrowly missing the Triple Crown with a second place finish in the Belmont. Silver Charm went on to win the Dubai World Cup at 4 and finished his career in the money 21 times from 24 starts.

Silver Charm is destined to be one of the leading sires in America. Silver Charm is the Second Leading Freshman Sire of runners weighted on the 2003 Experimental Free Handicap and, with three ranked juveniles, he is one of the Top Ten Sires overall of Experimental runners.

Silver Charm had his 18th winner and three new stakes horses (all colts) over the weekend of February 8. That brings his total to six stakes performers and three are graded stakes performers. He also has six Triple Crown Nominees on the Early Nomination List released last week.

Consecrate (c. o/o How So Oiseau, by Saratoga Six) was third, beaten a length and a half for the win, in the $150,000 San Vincente S.-G2 at Santa Anita on Saturday, Feb. 7. He's now earned $106,340. Owner: James McIngvale. Breeder: Ironwater Farms Joint Venture.

Preachinatthebar (c. o/o Holy Nola, by Silver Deputy) was third, beaten a length and a head and defeating ACTION THIS DAY, in the $75,000 Sham S. going 1-1/8 m. at Santa Anita on Sunday, Feb. 8. The chart comment was that he finished well to rally for third. He's earned $51,588. Owner/Breeder: Mike Pegram.

Silver Indy (c. o/o Miss Cort'n, by AP Indy) was second in the $75,000 Fair Grounds Sales S. going a mile at Fair Grounds Racecourse on Sunday, Feb. 8 in his fourth career start. He's now earned $31,380. Owner/Breeder: Keith Plaisance.
