The speculation concerning Successful Appeal's move to John T.L. Jones Jr.'s Walmac International near Lexington is over. The 8-year-old son of Valid Appeal will make the move to Walmac from his current home of Hartley/De Renzo, Walmac South near Ocala, Fla., for the 2005 breeding season.
Successful Appeal tops the freshman and overall 2-year-olds lists by progeny earnings. All three of his stakes winners -- Lunarpal, Double D Appeal, Punch Appeal--and have captured added-money races against open company. Lunarpal is unbeaten in four starts and boasts wins in the Bashford Manor (gr. III), Kentucky Breeders' Cup (gr. III), and Three Chimneys Juvenile Stakes.

Successful Appeal, who was produced from the Fortunate Prospect mare Successful Dancer, won eight of 22 starts and earned $654,681. Five of his wins came in stakes.
